Casey is a native-born Utahn and lifelong conservative. He is a current county and state delegate who is upset by Utah’s leftward shift in legislation and education, despite +30 years of Republican supermajorities. Determined to hold politicians accountable to the party platform, he spent countless hours registering voters and mobilizing efforts to ensure Mitt Romney faced a successful primary challenge, even creating “Remove Romney in ‘24” apparel and engaging conservatives at events to boost principled GOP voter registration.
As a strong advocate for the free speech and the Second Amendment, Casey used his SCC tenure to grow the party, register voters, and collaborate statewide with other SCC members to pass 3 resolutions (the most of any SCC member) and co-sponsored 5 others:

For too long, Utahns have waited for wealthy or well-known candidates to play savior—contrary to the caucus-convention system, where the best ideas thrive through informed delegate vetting. Casey believes restoring this system is essential for our shared conservative principles to prevail. He believes it incumbent upon each Utahn to stand for our beliefs, and confront those elected officials or party leaders who care more about the perception of doing good and being kind, while abandoning the principles of righteous Republicanism.
During this election cycle, he was appalled that the party failed to stand by its party constitution and its convention nominees, Phil Lyman, Trent Staggs, Kris Kimball, Tom Hansen. He’s embarrassed that elected republicans in legislative session over legislative session restrict GRAMA access where WE THE PEOPLE have a harder time trying to find out information about how the elected individuals and unelected bureaucrats are running OUR GOVERNMENT.
